Stowe Weekend of Hope
May 5-7, 2017
The Stowe Weekend of Hope offers a healthy, inspirational retreat weekend for cancer survivors and their families. The annual forum offers education, enlightenment, inspiration and retreat in the restorative environment of Stowe. This enriching experience is unique in that it provides support for the survivor, the care giver, and family members.

Craft Brew Race
May 20, 2017
The Craft Brew Race is a 5k road race followed by a local craft beer festival. Runners and walkers are welcome to participate in the 5k. The post race beer festival will be open to non-runners as well and a separate ticket is available on their website. The craft beer festival will be held immediately following the race featuring 20+ local breweries. This is a 21+ event. The festival will feature not only great local beer, but local food vendors and live music as well.

Chowderpalooza & Spring Artisan Market
May 27, 2017
Area chefs will create and serve up their favorite chowders, and you can be the judge! Purchase a $5 tasting bracelet, receive your voting ballot and try them all. Categories include White, Red, Veggie and Open. In addition, this event will kick off Art on Park, the local artisans market on Park Street. Stroll over to Park Street to listen to live music, get your face painted and shop from a variety of unique jewelry, pottery, fine art and more all created by local artists and artisans.

Stowe Farmer's Market
May 21 - October 15, 2017
Enjoy live entertainment while sampling wonderful artisanal foods and crafts. There are special events almost every Sunday, including local musicians playing folk, bluegrass or jazz. At various times there are craft and cooking demonstrations as well as other hands-on activities and petting zoos. The Stowe Farmer’s Market operates Sundays, from 10:30 until 3:00PM (rain or shine) and is located on Route 108 (Mountain Road) across from the Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa.
Bikes, Bevs, & Beats Festival
June 23-25, 2017
Featuring Vermont music, Vermont craft libations (beers, wines, spirits, ciders, root beer), and a celebration of Vermont mountain biking. This is a town-wide event, with restaurants serving as the venues! Area bike shops are hosting mountain bike group rides in town for the B3 Fest weekend, which will start and end at participating B3 Fest venues.

Art on Park, Stowe, VT

June 22 - August 24
Art on Park features a variety of handcrafted products: paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, birchbark art, soy candles, furniture, handbags, hats, jewelry, children’s items, specialty foods & teas, live music and more! Each week Park Street (right off Main Street in downtown Stowe, Vermont) is closed off and local artisans will set up under white tents, selling a variety of handcrafted products. There will be unique food and live music too!

Stowe 4th of July Fireworks
July 4, 2017
Starting with the Moscow parade and ending with Stowe’s incredible annual fireworks display, this is a great day to spend in Stowe. The Village Festival from 11:00AM - 3:00PM includes face painting, dunking booth, music, bounce house, clowns, balloons and food. At 6:00PM the fun continues in the Mayo Farm events field with carnival style fun and fireworks at dusk.

Stoweflake Hot Air Ballooin Festival
July 7-9, 2017
The Stoweflake Hot Air Balloon Festival is a 3-day event that kicks off with sunrise launches and a second twilight launch as well. Viewing the morning launches is complimentary for all visitors. There is a charge for admission for the evening festival but children 12 and under are admitted for free. Located at the AAA Four-Diamond Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa, the Stoweflake Hot Air Balloon Festival celebration includes a children’s corner with a variety of activities including bounce houses, face painting and more!

Helen Day Outdoor Art Show
July 22 - October 14, 2017
A unique outdoor sculpture gallery exhibits art all over Stowe. All summer long, where ever you go throughout Stowe, you’ll discover unique expressions of art, from Main Street to the recreation path! This exhibition and series of events is accompanied by cell phone audio tours, a nameplate describing the art and artist, walking tour maps, walkabouts, and a catalogue of the exhibit.

Stowe 8-Miler

The Stowe 8-Miler is a classic summer race now in its 34th year. Vermonters and runners from all over New England, Canada, and beyond return year after year to Stowe for this historic event. Whether you are a veteran runner of this race or running for the first time, the Stowe 8-miler provides a challenge for everyone.

Stowe Lacrosse Tournament
July 14-16 & July 22-23, 2017
Bitter Lacrosse is excited to bring you the 2017 Stowe Lax Festival. This event has become the greatest family lacrosse event in the country. Stowe Bike Path
July 28-29, 2017
This is an event only for those of legal drinking age - 21 years of age or older. Festival Gates open 30 minutes prior to the start of each tasting session, so please plan on sampling some fantastic food offerings and visiting the carefully selected vendors and exhibitors. Enjoy the best brews in Vermont while celebrating with brewers and craft beer lovers alike.

Antique Car Show, Stowe, VT
August 11-13, 2017
The 58th Stowe Annual Antique Car Show is a perennial favorite in Stowe, Vermont. There are 800 antique & classic cars on display. Food concessions, giant automotive flea market, and car corral. This year the the show will feature ALL electric cars up to and including current day electric cars.

Mount Mansfield
August 27, 2017
Every August, the North Face Race to the top of Vermont draws as many as 800 hikers, mountain bikers, and runners from across the United States and Canada to climb Mount Mansfield, Vermont’s highest peak. The course climbs up the historic toll road, is 4.3 miles in length, and climbs 2,564 feet.

Stowe Wine and Food Classic
August 25-27, 2017
The Stowe Wine and Food Classic is the annual signature event of Stowe Charities Inc. It will be held this year at Spruce Peak at Stowe / Stowe Mountain Lodge.

Fly Fishing Show
September 8-10, 2017
Join The Fly Rod Shop for their second annual Fly Fishing Show, right here in Stowe, Vermont! They have an action-packed weekend full of everything fly fishing. There will be on-the-river fishing demonstrations minutes away from the shop on everything from nymphing with a raven float to getting a true dead drift on a dry fly! Don’t miss out on the fly tying presentations and definitely come with an appetite, as Trapps will have some 5 star food available as well as some of their great beers!

The Trapp Lodge

This event is “a Three Day Celebration and Salutation to the Great British Motorcar and all manner of other things British.” According to legend, the British Invasion began in 1990 “over a pint of ale”, now it’s a British and American tradition lasting over 20 years! This is a wonderful event full of street parties, driving tours, car shows, competitions, and in a location that provides the perfect setting, with rolling hills, spectacular fall foliage, and wonderful winding roads to entice anyone.

Stowe Foliage Arts Festival
October 7-9, 2017
Stowe, Vermont, is the place to experience the classic New England Autumn, and the Stowe Foliage Arts Festival is the perfect destination.
