Mountain View Campground is a small, family owned and operated private campground located along the scenic Lamoille River near Mt. Mansfield and Stowe, Vermont.  We offer 50 full hook-up RV sites and for those without an RV, we offer 4 cabin rentals.  Unfortunately, we no longer offer tent camping sites. Several floods in recent years have impacted the land making it unsustainable to offer sites along the river. The large field along the river is now closed to all vehicles and is a great place to walk the dogs, for kids to run or play games and also provides ample river access points for all guests.

The Murray/Beares family became the owners in 2017 and quickly fell in love with this beautiful property, improving and sharing it with camping guests.  As long-time campers ourselves, from primitive backpacking, family tent camping and cross-country RV traveling, the goal is to use our experience as campers and travelers to provide a comfortable and enjoyable park for our guests.   exhibiting many of the qualities that we enjoy when camping and traveling.

This is the perfect location and homebase for your Vermont adventures! Offering great access for many outdoor activities and hiking and biking trails for both the novice and the daring.  The area abounds with historic and memorable small towns, scenic drives and vistas, plus many iconic Vermont attractions and shopping are all nearby.  We are also surrounded by all the “tastes” of Vermont from craft breweries and cider to maple syrup, cheese and ice cream!  See the Explore Page to plan your trip!

After exploring, retreat to Mountain View Campground and just relax!  Or enjoy the various amenities including, two swimming pools, adults-only hot tub, games, dog park, laundry/showers and river access.  We also offer free Wi-Fi throughout the grounds and an onsite camp store with the essentials, plus an excellent selection of local craft beers and wines.  Please note that we do not offer any planned activities or events at the campground.  While we do not have cable, we are open sky where antenna, satellite and starlink reception is strong.  See the Amenities Page.

We strive to provide a clean, relaxing, quiet and enjoyable experience for our camping guests!  It is our goal to continuously improve and provide modern and well-maintained sites and facilities.  We are a small, gated campground and cater exclusively to our camping guests; we do not offer day use of our facilities to the public.  There is a limit of 6 people registered per campsite at all times and rules and policies are in place to ensure the safety, enjoyment and comfort of all campers.  We encourage you to familiarize yourself with these rules & policies prior to booking a stay with us.  See the Rules & Policies.
